

Glenn Davis('83) followed in his brother, Conn's footsteps at D&E and was Captain Fantastic under coach Nils Heinke from 1980-83. Glenn lives in Houston and provides color commentary as a broadcaster for MLS broadcasts on HDNET with Marcello Balboa. During the FIFA 2002 World Cup, he provided play-by-play for many of the first-round matches with Giorgio Chanaglia. You may have heard him calling the infamous Russia - Japan match! Glenn spends his free time working with youth soccer players in Houston and hosts a weekly radio talk show on soccer.
Conn Davis('75) first arrived in Elkins in the summer of 1971 during Greg Myers's last season as coach. A natural goalkeeper, Conn was the heir to the great Bill Nuttall and helped lead D&E back to the nationals in each of his four seasons.
He fondly recalls watching Donnie Sphar eat a 3 inch locust and Scotty Smith vomit at a gas station somewhere on our way to Look Out Mountain, Tennessee. A consumate athlete, Conn was named to the WVIAC All-Conference, NAIA All-South Regional, and NSCAA All-American teams during his tenure as a Senator. During his D&E career in goal the Senators never lost a game played in Elkins. He is a member of the D&E Sports Hall of Fame. His younger brother, Glenn, was a soccer All-American at D&E.
In 1975, Conn married Debi Behm Davis, the former Miss D&E. They have three children, Rachel 21 yrs., Conn 18 yrs. and Hannah 12 yrs. All of whom have been raised in beautiful St.Thomas, Virgin Islands. Conn is a beverage distributor and coaches the Antilles H.S. Varsity Soccer Team.
Floris de Klerk('00) is currently living in Spain and following the La Liga as a supporter of Real Madrid. Floris intends to join us for the 2003 reunion and has made attempts to bring the Welshman, Tommy "Red" Keeling, back from his Ryan Giggs shrine!. Floris's fondest memories as a member of the D&E soccer program were victories over Lockhaven and the University of Charleston while they were nationally-ranked. He is currently working in Spain and busy training for a trial with Barcelona FC.
Duane Dyer('94) resides in North Brunswick, NJ. and designs magazines and brochures for several large medical companies as a production director. Originally from Marabella, Trinidad, Duane made his maiden voyage to Elkins in the summer of 1990, and immediately contributed to a young squad as the team's primary defensive midfielder. Duane earned All-Conference honors in 1991-93 and was an All-South Regional selection in 1992.
Since graduating with a degree in graphic art and design, Duane volunteers his creativity and poise with computers as our principal art and graphics director. This website is the result of his genius with HTML and Javascript programming. When not on the keyboard, he is on the soundboard mixing local artists for his new recording label, Jaquzzi Records, Inc.
Joseph Donnelly('71) is the Director of the Energy Balance Laboratory in the Department of Health, Sport and Exercise Sciences at the University of Kansas. Joe played with Nils, Lew, Hank and Scotty during the glory years, and will be returning to Elkins this spring for the first time in many years.
Trip Dunville ('88) dazzled the D&E crowds from 1985-88 as a stellar midfielder under Barry Gorman and Steve Adlard. He currently lives in Richmond, Va., and is a business partner with David Valiente ('90) in RICHMOND AIR, a new and emerging telecommunications company serving the greater Richmond area. Trip returned to Elkins in 2003 to honor Fred Schmalz and catch up with Curtis Riley, Ken Stanley, Eddie Recinos, Erik Christie, and Billy Mead.
