Chris and Matt Kaplan live in the Baltimore, Md., area and work within shouting distance of each other. Matt is expecting his first child this spring and is considering putting his wife in a new maternity suit from Under Armour where he makes his living. Both brothers played two seasons for D&E in 1990 and 1991. Chris recently wed and is blissful despite the lack of congratulations from D&E teammates!
Tommy Keeling('98) had four stellar seasons as a center back under coaches Bob Bigney and Mark Stolesteimer. A native of Wales, Tommy established himself as one of the leading defenders in the WVIAC between 1995-98. He currently resides in Wales.
Leigh Keddle('01) recently returned to his home in Burlington, Ontario following four outstanding seasons as the Senators' starting goalkeeper. He earned All-Conference honors in three of his four seasons and helped recruit fellow Canadians to the current program.
Khosrow Ardalan('64) lives in Winston Salem, NC and played two seasons in goal for the Senators under Doc Davis. He recalls the following of his playing days at D&E: "This is so long ago that I do nat recall the details, but the last game of the season, I was the goal keeper and had high fever. I just remember that we won the game.."
Bill Koeppen('87) lives in Des Moines, Iowa and has been a collegiate soccer coach for the past 15 years. He played under Nils Heinke and Barry Gorman before graduating in 1987. He recalls the following of his playing days at D&E: "Shawn Green's request for help dies on the vine! Greenie managed to park his car in the tree just inside the entrance to campus...Shawn rushed into the Presidential Suite where quite the party was happening...everyone truned around to listen as Greenie pleaded for help to get his car dislodged from the tree...after a few brief moments of ponderous silence, we all turned around and resumed the party! Unlucky mate! Kendall refuses pushups...Team was waiting in the cruiser in the gym parking lot to leave for match with WVU...Walkes delayed our departure 20 minutes due to an apparent irritable bowel...Kendall refused Nils' perscribed punishment of 25 pushups before boarding...Team went to Morgantown and got handled 3-1 despite playing up for 70 minutes...Dramatic then...comedic soon after."
