Bill Nuttall('72) is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers ever to play at D&E. He led D&E to their two national championship victories in 1968 and 1970, and was elected to the BEST XI - ALL-TIME team for his All-American performances between the pipes for the Senators. Bill is the official distributor for Diadora in North America, and has been a tremendous supporter of D&E Soccer and FOSS over the years.
Emily Nalls('04) is regarded as one of the best female shot stopper in D&E Women's Soccer history. A native of Bluemont, Virginia, Nalls led the Lady Senators through four memorable seasons. She was a member of several WVIAC All-Conference and Scholar Athlete teams during her career. Emily's fondest memories as an athlete date back to her senior year when the women battled West Virginia Wesleyan to the end only to come up short on a goal off of a corner kick. Emily looks forward to re-uniting with her teammates at the 2010 Reunion when she is honored as a member of the BEST XI - ALL-TIME team for Lady Senators soccer. Congrats, Emily!
Brandi Nichols('06) Coming Soon!
Bob Nicoll('71) played under the tutelage of Dr. Greg Myers and was Bill Nuttall's back up as one of the Senators' two goalkeepers during their two national championship victory in 1970. Bob journeyed to Annapolis, Md., for the 2005 join reunion with the Friends of Navy Soccer to participate in the roasting of Greg Myers upon his retirement from the Naval Academy. Bob's fondest memory as a member of the D&E Soccer program is being a part of the championship team in 1970. The priviledge of playing with Hank, Scotty, and learning to be a keeper from one of the best--Bill Nutall. My personal moment was recording a 2-0 shutout against Ottawa University in the 1971 National Semi-Finals. It was my best game. Bob and his wife live in Eagle River, AK.
Kauren Nordstrom('06) played soccer in high school and in the club system in Northern Virginia before embarking on a varsity experience at D&E under former coaches Greg Mitchell and Mat Santoro. Kauren was a two-time All-WVIAC honoree and demonstrated leadership on and off the field as the leader of the team's outreach efforts with local schools and soccer clubs. Kauren was elected to the BEST XI - ALL-TIME team in November 2009 and will be returning to campus in April to be honored along with other members of the squad.
