Stuart J. Penman('69) lives in Washington, N.J. Stuart was a member of the soccer team from 1967-69 and helped D&E win its first national championship in 1968 under Coach Myers.
Kim Peterson('05) is one of the pioneering members of the first D&E Women's Soccer Teams. A tenacious player with solid skill, Kim roamed the flanks for Greg Mitchell and helped keep things tight in the midfield with Jeannette. Kim graduated in 2005 and thanks Mitchell for helping her develop into the player and person that she is today.
She has remained active in the sport of soccer as a coach in the Odenton, Md. community. "I have lots of good memories...hanging out with the girls and my friends....sitting at the caf talking to everybody...Great. Lots of props need to be given to my coach Greg Mitchell...without him, I would not be where I am today...thanks Greg...you helped me not just in soccer but in life too...thanks for helping me grow up."
